REGENT THEATRE.
TWO ENTERTAINING COMEDIES. Two novel and amusing comedies make an excellent entertainment -at the Regent Theatre this week. "Pardon Us" is the first full-length comedy by .Laurel and Hardy, wlose work lias already won them a place second only to Chaplin. They are uproariously funny in this comedy of prison 'ifo, which is perhaps designed as a burlesque of "The Big House." The other feature, "Shipmates,' 7 is a fast-moving story of the United States Navy, starring Robert Montgomery and Dorothy Jordan. Even apart from an entertaining story, there are some fine scenes of the sea and life aboard ship. A Fox News completes a programme of outstandingly good value.
