A NEW PLANET.
SCIENTIST'S PREDICTION. ("C KITED Pr.Efla ASSOCIATION—BY ELECIBIC TiXEGBAPH—COPYRIGHT.) (Received October ,30th, 5.5 p.m.} NEW YORK, October 28. Professor William Pickering, inter-nationally-known astronomer, announced from Mandeville, Jamaica, that he predicts the discovery soon of "Planet P," which he estimates, principally from the perturbation of Uranus, will be found from 5,000,000 -to 9,000,000 miles from the sun with a diameter of 40,000 miles. He computes that the new planet takes 656 years to make one circuit round the sun on an elliptical orbit.
