AEOLIAN CLUB.
On November 17tli. at 8 p.m., in the Radiant Hall, the vEolian Club will give the second public recital of its 1931 season, under the direction of Mr Ernest Empson. A very fine programme will bo presented as follows:—"Prelude and Fuguo in C sharp minor" (Bach), Mr Frederick Page; _ the second and third movements of the Pianoforte Concerto in O minor (Rachmaninoff), Miss Lucy Fullwood; Fantaisie in F minor (Chopin), Miss Olive Cooper; soprano recit. and aria (Mozart), and three Lieder (Grieg), Miss Lillian Hanhem; Rondo and Capriccio (Beethoven), Miss Eileen Hughson; Pianoforto Concerto in G minor (Saint-Saens), Miss Bessie Pollard; Cloches a travers les feuilles (Debussy). Miss Isla Barter: 'cello soli,, (a) Adagio (Handel) and (b) Guitarre (Popper), Mr Hamilton Dickson; Francaise, for two pianos (Florent Schmitt). Misses Eileen Hughson and Olga Wellard-King. Mr Empson will play tho orchestral accompaniments.
