DIAMOND HARBOUR GOLF CLUB. The Diamond Harbour Golf Club will close the season to-morrow afternoon witli competitions and the presentation of trophies won during the season, and a dance will be held in the evening. Harbour Light Theatre. 4 ' The W Plan," a really thrilling espionage drama admirably acted by an English cast, will be repeated at the Harbour Light Theatre to-night. To-morrow "Under a Texas Moon," an all-talking and singing romance starring Frank Fay, Raquel Torres, and Myrna- Loy will be screened, with a good supporting programme. The New Road. A large number of workmen have been engaged this week, under the No. 5 Scheme, in continuing the new motor road which is to encircle the top of the town and the road ia nearly completed as far as Ross terrace. Most of the men are engaged in excavating a deep cutting above the end of Jackson's road. A walk around the new road is amply repaid by the splendid and new views obtainable of the town and harbour.
