SATURDAY'S SOUTHERLY. SNOW FALLS IN COUNTRY DISTRICTS. The prediction of wintry weather for tJi O week-end was correct so far as Saturday was concerned, for throughout the province bitterly cold southerly winds wore accompaniod by rain squalls and falls of snow in many places.
