PARISH DANCE. A dance arranged by the social committee of St. Saviour's parish was held in the schoolroom on Friday evening. Miss Phyllis Plimmer provided the music and extras wore supplied by Mra G. Brooke, Mr L. Huston, and Mr Briadford. Mr D._ Comer was. M.C. Mr L. Scott and Miss Edna Ayers won a lucky spot waltz, and Captain J. Crawford and Miss Myrtle Newton were the winners of Monte Carlo waltz. During the evening Miss Penberthy, Miss Lottie Colville, and Mr Kellaway, members' of Mr Cocks's Concert Party, gave several vocal items, adding to the enjoyment of a successful gathering. Church Parade. .Members .of the Friendly Societies Lodges in Lyttelton held a Church Parade yesterday morning for the purposo of attendina Divine Service at St. Saviours Church, West Lyttelton. The Court Queen of the Isles Foresters Lodge, and Juvenile Lodge, the Loyal City of Norwich Oddfellows Lodge, and Juvenile Lodge, and the Kaia Toa (Ladies) Oddfellow*. Lodge were fully represented in the parade, aud headed by a band, marched from the Oddfellows Hall to the Church. The church was filled to capacity, and the service was conducted by the Rev, C. W. Maelaverty, the second lesson being read by Mr W. T Foster, District Secretary of the Lyttelton District Oddfellows. The vicar preached on "Workers Together for Him," and the course of his sermon emphasised that the Friendlv Society movement was an illustration of the Brotherhood of Man.
