TARANAKI OPPOSITION.
(PKESS ASSOCIATION TELEQBAM.) NEW' PLYMOUTH, September 3. Strong opposition to the proposed new method of control of broadcasting was expressed by the North Taranaki Radio Society to-night. It was decided that as soon as a copy of the Bill was received to call a meeting of listeners. The general opinion was that a change in control would not be in the interests of listeners. A referendum of listeners was suggested.
