MOCK COURT SOCIAL. Aa enjoyable social was held in the Methodist Schoolroom on Tuesday evening, when a Mock Court was acted by the members of the Bible Class, five different people being charged with various quaint offences. The east was as follows:—Clerk of Court, Mr G. Westbrooke; senior-sergeant, Mr A. McDowell; lawyer, Mr P. Woods; reporter, Mr 0. Silcock; constables: Messrs E. King and It. Connollyj traffic inspector, Mr E. Coburn; ranger, Mr M. Shrimptou; judge, Mr W. Connolly. Items were contributed by Mrs Watt' (song), Mrs Stevens (song), and Miss Mae Kelly (piano), who also acted as accompanist. Competitions were won by Miss E. King and Mr Neil "Watkink, Mr W. Connolly w;as M.C.' -

Heathcote won by 9 to 5, and Miss Hodgson was referee. ■ .On Monday the Heatheote girls werevisited by the Burwood team, and a friendly match was played,. resulting in a win for Burwood by 14" to 13. - <
