CHRIST'S COLLEGE 11. V. ST BEDE'S.

A friendly match between the second fifteen of Oin'st's College and the nrst fifteen of St. Bede's was played on the Christ's College ground yesterday afternoon, and resulted in a win for St. Bede's by 22 points to 15. An excellent exhibition of Rugby was provided, most of the play being open, with both sides handling well. College were heavier forward, and carried the bulk of the scrums, but in the loose the disparity was not so marked. The game had no sooner _ started than St. Bede's were five points up> and within five minutes had added another five, tries bv Harvey and P. Scully being converted by O'Connor. Harvey scored again, and then College settled down. Bright passing movements ended in tries by Ivilian, Sedgley, and Scott, Kilian converting his own and Alpers those of the other two. At half-time, College were leading by 15 points to 13. ...
