OBITUARY.

♦ .UK F. M. COLLINS. A well-known Christchurch resident) Mr Frank Martin Collins, of 29 lie a ley street, St. Albans, died last evening ai the age of 58. Mr Collins, who had been connected with the A.M.P. Society in Christchurcli i'or the past six years, was a native of London, a.ud came to .New Zealand forty-five years ago. He had resided in Christchurch since that time, and was connected with a number of bodies, including the Pioneer Sports Club, on the committee of which lie was a member, tho Savage Club, the Union Itowing Club, and tlio Commercial Travellers' Association. He was well known in die Masonic fratei*nitv, and was a Past Grand Master. Mr Collins was for years a prominent member of the Christchurch Liedertafel, being one of its best-known singers until his health broke down a few years ago. He was married and leaves besiden his wife, two sons, one of whom is Mr F. 11. Collins, of the Public Works Department, and a daughter. Mr TV. C. Collins, of the Christchurch Building Society, is a brother.
