WEDDINGS.

McINTOSH—CRIGLINGTON. The marriage of Jean Fannihill, fourth daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Criglington, White street, Eangiora, and Frederick Alexander, eldest son of Mr and Mrs Alex. Mcintosh, Biverside, Southbrook, was celebrated recently at the Ashley Bank Presbyterian Church by the Rev. J. Farrar. Miss Nora Downing, a friend of the bride, supplied the nuptial music, and decorated the church.

The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a princess frock of ivorysatin with circular shoulder yolk and long tight-fitting sleeves. The skirt was ankle length and fully flared. Iler veil was arranged in bonnet-style with tiny clusters of orange blossom at the sides and she carried a sheaf of arurri lilies.

The attendant bridesmaid, Miss Margaret Mcintosh, sister of the bridegroom, wore a dainty frock of blue feorgette, with eape collar and apliqued round the full hem line with leaves. Her hat was of sisal straw to tone and trimmed with velvet ribbon on the brim. She carried a shower bouquet of roses and carnations. Little Ailsa Williams (Waipara), niece of the bride, was flower-girl, wearing a frock of pink organdi with puff sleeves, and the skirt composed of tiny picoted frills. Her coronet was of pink flowers and she carried a posy of pink and white geraniums and mountain lilac. On leaving the church, the bride was presented with a silver horseshoe by her little sister Noel. Mr Ken Mcintosh, the bridegroom's brother, was .best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at Miss Welsh's tearooms, Eangiora. The bride's mother wore a frock of black satin and guipure lace with appliqued flowers of royal blue and rose, and a hat to tone, and carried a bouquet of roses. The bridegroom's mother wore a frock of navy blue celanese with fawn bankok straw hat and carried a bouquet of roses and maidenhair fern. The bridegioom's grandmother, Mrs Mcintosh (New Brighton), wore a black satin dress and black hat. When Mr and Mrs F. A. Mcintosh left for a motor trip to Blenheim and Nelson, the bride was wearing a winecoloured chenille dress with celanese coat and small straw hat to tone.
