ACCIDENTS.
FALL FROM LADDER. ] John Doran Gobbe, of 69 Perth street, a painter, was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital shortly before 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon suffering from injuries to his head and shock. It was stated that lie was working on a house in Barbadocs street, and fell from a ladder. His condition is not serious. CYCLISTS IN COLLISION. Colliding with another cyclist as she was riding across the Radley bridge early yesterday morning, Nancy O'Brien, aged 10, who lives in Ferry road, was thrown heavily to the ground. She was taken to the Christehurch Hospital suffering from head injuries and shock". Her condition last night was stated to be quite satisfactory.
NEW BRIGHTON MAN HURT. , An employee of the New Brighton Borough Council, J. Scales, married, suffered concussion and minor abrasions yesterday morning, when he fell from a cart on which he was working. It is understood that he struck his head on the kerbing at the side of the road. Scales was removed to his- home, where he was attended by Dr. \V. E. Stevens, and at a late hour last night he was reported to be making satisfactory progress. CRUSHED BY FALLING TREE. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) IXVERCARGILL, December 4.
