The Tees arrived yesterday afternoon from Wellington, and is to Bail this afternoon lor the Chatham Islands. The "Waimarino is to arrive hero this morning from Timaru to load for Auckland. Slio sails via "Wellington. The Rangitane is to sail from at noon to-morrow for Southampton and .London. The John is expected to-morrow from Timaru, and "will take in cargo for "Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth, and Waikato. The C. and D. liner Port Hunter is now due to-morrow from Wellington to discharge New York cargo. The coastal motor-3hip Port "Waikato should arrive here to-morrow from the south to take in cargo for Dargaville, WJiangarei, and Tauranga. The Calm is timed to load nfc Lyttelton to-morrow for Wellington and Wanganui. Tho Parera is to sail from Gisborne at noon on Monday for Lyttelton, and is due Here on Wednesday. She loads for "Waikokopu, Tolaga Bay, and Tokomaru Bay. The 'Waipiata should arrive here to-morrow from Auckland and Wellington, and sails in the afternon for Dunedin and Timaru. The Wingatui is now due here on Tuesday from Bluff, Dunedin, and Oamaru, and is to sail the same day for Wellington and Auckland. Tho TCaimiro 5s due on Tuesday from Portland, via Wellington, with cement. Tho Kanna is to arrive at Lyttelton on Wednesday from Westport, via Bluff, Dunedin, and Timaru. She sails the same day for Westport.

THE FERRY SERVICE. CHRISTMAS TIME-TABLE. The Union Company announce that to cope with the holiday traffic in Christmas week extra daylight trips will be run by the Wahine and Maori on December 23rd and 24th. On her arrival at Lyttelton on Tuesday, December 23rd, the Wahine will land passengers and mails and then make a daylight trip back to Wellington. She will leave Wellington the same evening for Lyttelton, arriving here on the morning of Wednesday, December 24th. She will sail from Lyttelton the same morning for Wellington, and will then take up her usual running, leaving Wellington on the night of the 24th. The Maori will make a daylight trip from Wellington to Lyttelton on the 23rd, and will leave Lyttelton on the night of the 23rd for Wellington. She will make another daylight trip from Wellington to Lyttelton on the 24th, and take up her usual running from Lyttelton the same night. There will be no daylight trips on Christmas Day, but the usual service will be run.
