The house was severely damaged by nre and water. It was insured in the Alliance Office for £ISOO. Mrs George- \\ at son had a cover of £3OO on her tuiniture. Part of the house was occupied by Miss Aubrey, whose furniture is insured with the Eagle, Star, and Dominions Office. Mrs George-Watson was tli-e widow of a former City Council chief sanitary inspector.
