INDEPENDENCE SOUGHT. ("UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—BY ELECT IIIC TELEGBAPH —COPYRIGHT.) CAIRO, November 18. Under the presidency of Sidky Pasha and the vice-presidency of jf wfik Paeha, a now People's Party has been formed to secure Egypt's independence, sovereign rights in the S-idan. and a cordial Anglo-Egyptian Agreement. The outstanding questions are abolition of capitulations, preservation of Egyptian' and foreign friendships, Egypt's entry into the League of Nations, the safeguarding of National powers, the rights of the Throne, the independence of the Magistracy, and internal reforms.
