NATIVE BIRDS ESSAY COMPETITION.
THE PRIZE LIST. I Although the entry for the essaycompetition on "Native Bird Life" eonducted by the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society wag not so large as that of last year, the standard was quite as good, according to the report of the Native Birds Committee received by the Council of the Society at a meeting last evening.
