HEATHCOTE NEWS.
FLOWER SHOW. A meetiug of the Methodist Kose Show Committee was"held. It was decided to hold the show in the Club Hall on Saturday, November 22nd. A comprehensive schedule has been compiled. Officials for the show were elected as follows:—President, the Bev. F. B. Ijawreiicc; chairman, the Bev. H. Fallows; secretary, Mr W. J. Burnell; treasurer, Miss J. Hay; 3uperviser, Mr AV. Connolly; judges, flowers, etc., Mr J. H. Robinson; cookery, Mr F. G. Norton. Stall-holders were appointed as follows: Work stall, Ladies' Guild; variety stall, Mesdames Cogle, Westbroolce, and Stevens; cake stall, Mesdames Scott arid Shrimpton; ice-cream stall, Misses A. Oetgen, A. Scott, M. and T). Cameron; flowers and produce, Messrs W. Harvey, K. Stevens, and T. Hay; sweets stall, members of the Young Women's Bible Class; toy stall, Mesdames Fallows, Burnell, and Miss J. Hay; side-shows, members of the Young Men's Bible Class. Girl Guides. Hie llc.ithcote company of Uirl Guides is now well established, and interesting meetings are held every week under the supervision of Captain N. Flavell. On Monday evening the Mcrivale- Guides visited the Heathcote troop and spent, an enjoyable time. A mothers' evening is to be held in a fort night, when all the Guides' mothers frill be invited to inspect the company.
