Buyers of South British Insurance shares advanced their offers to 565, sellers at 57 s. Goldsbrough, Slorts moved up to 23s 9d, market closing 23s 8d buyers, 24s 2d sellers. New Zealand Breweries shares were firm at 43s 9d and 465, buyers slaying in at 4os 9d, sellers at 4Gs. Buyers of Staples Breworv shares raised their bids to 39s (id without attracting sellers. Tooths Brewerv shares had dealings ai 25s and 25s Id, and more were wanted at 255, sellers at 25s 2d. Australian Glass shares, cum dividend, jumped to 295. and more were offered at. that price, buyers at 28s 9d. There was a closer market for Colonial Sugars, buyers offering £3l 12s 6d, sellers asking £35. Electrolytic Zinc preference shares hardened to 18s 7d buyers, 19s 9d sellers. Mt. Lyells, cum dividend, scored a rise of 2s with dealings
