The IJroomfield School Jubilee Committee held a meeting, when further business was gono into. The secretaries are finding it difficult to secure the addresses of some of the ex-scholars. Mr C. Fairweather was appointed treasurer. Another meeting is to be held in a fortnight's time. A school comrniti-eo meeting was held on Saturday night, when there were present: .Messrs 8. A meeting of the Presbyterian Ladies' Guild was held, at the manse, when final arrangements were made lor the annual bazaar. Members were appointed to take charge of fancy and plain, produce, sweets, and cake stalls, bran tub, tind refreshments. Various competitions will also bo held at the bazaar.

Ti ia Aknroa Club held the cup ladfc year, and at the conclusion of Saturday's play, they were 24 games in the lead. Taylor. J.P.'s. Clarence Smith and John Thomas Gibson, two young men, were i charged, on remand, with receiving goods to the value of over £9, knowing them to have been dishonestly obtained.
