OBITUARY.
MRS SARAH WILLIAMSON. One of the pioneers of Christchureh, Mrs finr.i'n Williamson, vosterday afternoon. With her husband, Mr Philip Andrew Williamson, she arrived at Lytteiton by the ship Northampton iri 187-1, and two years later she took up her residence in Selwyn street, Aldington, where she has resided since. Lnder the necessity of_ fending for her young family, Mrs Williamson discharged her task with much self-sacri-fice and devotion, and earned the high esteem of all wno knew her. She brought up u family of six; four others died while young. Mrs Williamson was a. native of London, and was a member of St. Mary's Church, Addington. She is survived by two sons, Messrs Alfred and Sidney Williamson, and three daughters. Mrs T. Jones, of Avonside, Mrs Anthony Edwards, of Avonside, and Mrs J. </. Hall, of Papanui; and by sixteen grandchildren and twelvo groat grandchildren.
