.Another "automobile hotel"' has been opened in New York as one of the solutions of the city's parking problem. It has a capacity of .■ 1500 to 2300 motor-cars a day, and it is similar to one which has been established in Grand : Central zone for about a year. Motor-cars are placed on lifts, run to° nay of the 25 floors, and parked without being touched by hand. Th© mechanical parking device, which runs under the machine, carries it to the lift and off again, and permits the car to be returned to the owner without the necessity of an attendant's touching it.
