London's first club 'for lonely people was opened recently in St. Michael's Retreat, Pilgrim Street, E.C. It is the Trusty Friends' CJlub, and itis .originator is the Rtiv. J. R. Sankey, rector of St. Andriew-by-the-Ward-robe Churchy St. Andrew's Hill, B.C.
