Though it is true that the main wealth of the Dominion comes from the sheep industry, dairying, like the British Jack Tars in the American war procession, "helped." The imports from England were exactly half, while those from the U.S.A. were only one-fourth, but the Canadian figures are fairly well sustained. , - There were 1607 lorry chassis and 599 car chassis imported for which bodies were made by New Zealand coaclibuilders.
