The Rep was the most expensive of the three. Then came the Reo—a standard four-speed ,11ton truck. Bucking and rolling, it carried its load without a moment's faltering, with the engine ticking over almost at idling speed. Then it gave a repeat of this wonderful performance,—and the Council were so impressed that they purchased two Reo's instead of one ! The moral is this. First, that the little extra price of a Reo makes a difference that's immense. And secondly, when you are purchasing a truck, test the Reo out under actual working conditions against its competitors.
