REV. JAMES COLWELL. IOTSITBD rSBSS ASSOCIATION—ST ELICTSIC TiLßasAra—coFTniaßT.) SYDNEY, November 11. The death has occurred of the Rev. Jamea Colwell, aged 70, a noted Methodist minister m New Sauth Wales. He was the author cf a number of books. [The Rev. James Colwell, F.R-Hist.-S., England, F.R.G.S., Methodist minister and author, was b-rn at Gloucester, England, and entered the Methodist ministry in 18S5. He was a frequent contributor to the Press on the early history of Australia, and early Methodism. His books included "History of Methodism in New South Wales." Ho was editor and part author of ' The Story of Australia," in six volumes, and editor of "A Century in the Pacific.""] SENATOR J. G. TURIFF.
