A LICENSING OFFENCE.
(PEK-3S ASSOCIATION ROTORUA. November 11. In the Magistrate's Court yesterday. Mathew J. Black was fined £35, James C. Devereaux and Alexander Hayes £'2 each, and Benjamin J. Grace £2t> tor supplying liquor to Mapri girls. The Magistrate said that there was not a redeeming feature in the case. The two girls were practically child ren. If he could, he would have sent the accused to prison. He fixed default at three months', two months', and six weeks' imprisonment respectively.
