SOUTHDOWN EXPORT.
TO WEST AUSTRALIA. West Australia, in common witli the other States of the Commonwealth, is making strong endeavour to get the Southdown breed of sheep established, and in order to do this is making valuable importations from Now Zealand Jjreeders. Messrs Wright. Stephenson, and Co., Ltd., advise that they have just exported by the Malieno, sailing via Bluff and Melbourne, two lngh-class stud rams and twelve one-shear stud ewes to buyers in West Australia, where a New Zealand-bred rain recently won the Royal Championship. The same firm is also shipping to a buyer in West Australia a hish-r-l;,.ss 'Border Leicester stud ram. This ram is from the highly successful Kauana rtoek of Mr li. J. Anderson, Kauana, Southland.
