The * smallest -working locomotive in the world waß one of the exhibits at the model Engineering Exhibition in London recently. The locomotive is only 2in loug, but it contains a motor which runs at iiOOO revolutions a minute, and it pulls ia train weighing 2oz along a railway of sin gauge. It was made by a saxophone player. More than 2000 swimming certificates have been awarded to London school children in one year. Every year China uses 4000 tons of lilies as food. The flowers are made into a nourishing soup.
