WELLINGTON, November 8. | With another display of hard, fast, and ] scientific wrestling, for which he is already i well known, Kara Pasha (ISst 91b) defeated Fred Ebcrt (13st 9lb), by two falls to one in a match at the Town Hall this evening. Ebert won the first fall of the match in ' the third round with an adroit back slam, but Pasha evened the score in the fifth with a Boston crab and followed it in thi> next by pinning Ebert's shoulders to the mat after the Austrian had been unsuccessful with a spin and slam. It was a comparatively short match, bat both wen were responsible for a strenuous and clean display while it lasted. Ebort had not appeared in the Wellington ring since early in the season, and he proved again a dangerous opponent Both were popular with the crowd. COLEMAN DISQUALIFIED. (PMS S ASSOCIATION tEI.BG SAM.) AUCKLAND, November 9. There was a sensational ending to the wrestling match at the Town Hall to-night when Tom Alley won from Coleman in the sixth round. Alley secured a submission fall in the third round with a crucifix hold, and in the fifth round the referee disqualified Coleman after repeatedly warning him for using the leg strangle. Pandemonium broke loose, and after a consultation among the officials the bout proceeded. Alley having meantime addressed the crowd, saying he did not wish to win in that manner. A series of flying tackles made Alley prougy, and he was easily pinned when round five was continued. The police inspector then spolce to the referee asking him to bar the flying tackle. Coleman persisted with it. however, in round six, and was disqualified, much to his snrprise_ and disgust, as the flying tackle is permitted in other countries.
