OLD-BIRD ftACE. The Christchurch Racing Pigeon Society conducted thoir first old bird race from Oamaru on Saturday last; Mr J. Meikle liberated 187 birds, in a sbuth-enat wind. The winning bird (Cannell and Stobart's Importance) flew the distance of 140 miles 462 yards, air-line, in 3 hours 21 minutes. The following are the results;— Yds. per inin.
