DOUBLE FEATURE i PROGRAMME
The new i.rogramme at the Civic, commencing to-day, is full of interest, and certainly patrons will get good value {or thei* money. A double-feature programme is provided, plus another Miokey Mouse cartoon. The main attraction ie "A Royal Romance," ft comedy drama of unusual type. The etory concerns ft young literary man, who contends that he oould write a literary luauterpiecs if only he could get the right "atmosphere." He therefore goee lo the Balkans and buys a century-old castle. Without his knowing it a prince** is a prisoner therein, and thie lady supplies the romance. The eocond feature—if second one could call it—is "Acquitted." Tbiß is a story of tha underworld from a new angle. A young doctor ie wrongfully imprisoned for murder, and while In gaol falls in love with an inmate whom he is attending professionally. Free again, they set about to track down the murderer, and thereby incur the wrath of the gang which w»a reßponeiblo for the imprisonment of both. In the end the wits of the girl win the day and they are free to live their Uvea as desired.
