LITTLE GIRL'S DEATH.
CORONER'S VERDICT. The verdict passed at the inquest into the death of Erice Ambridgo, aged two years seven months, the daughter of Mr and Mrs XL A. Ambridge, CO Puriri street, Upper Riccarton, who was found drowned in the river Avon, near her parents' house on Wednesday night, was that death was duo to accidental drowning. The Coroner was Mr E. D. Mosloy. Charlotte Mary Ambridge, mother of the little girl, said that she last saw
her daughter about 5.30 p.m. on Wednesday. She was then playing outside the house, but later sho was missed, and a search was made. The child's father, Robert Allan Ambridge, said the body was found about 6.45 o 'clock some 15Q yards downstream, lying by an old water mill. Artificial respiration methods were used until Dr. 11. A. Vivian arrived. > f"
