THE ECONOMICS CLASS. On Wednesday evening ( the final meeting of the 1930 session of the economics class of the W.E.A. was held at tfee home of Mr.W. E. Davidson, of Harewood. The members Of Dr. Milli--gan's class in physiology were invited to be present, and about 30 students journeyed out by tram and car. The subject dWussed was "The Prosent Condition of the Primary and Secondary Industries in New Zealand, and Possible Methods for Counteracting Depression." The meeting was more f|r less informal, and partook of the nature of a friendly social gathering,, and was a pleasant termination to a very successful year of study, which Mr Lawn, the tutof, had made always interesting and instructive.
