WEST CHRISTCHURCH CLUB. T-ae annual general meeting of the West Christchurch Cricket Club was held last night, Mr D. Reese presiding over a good attendance of, members. The annual report and balance-sheet were adopted. ... A number of new members were enrolled, amongst them being Messrs E. E. Caygill, E El Luttrell, C. G. Gibbs, P. Allen, I*. G. Moving the adoption of the annual report (already published), the chairman stated that last season's competition had been very keenly contested and the standard of cricket had improved considerably.
