The Jugo-Slav Press was forbidden to publish news of the executions at Trieste, tho Government fearing antiItalian demonstrations. Nevertheless, the news leaked out and resulted in big demonstrations against Italy, and these were helped by fancy stories of the manner in which the accused youths were hurried to their death by the Fascist executioners. [ln February of this year a bomb, exploding at midnight ill the offices of tjie Fascist newspaper "Popolo di Trieste," at Trieste, injured three members of the editorial staff, one of whom died. Tho outrage was attributed to anti-Fascists. Tho building and machinery were greatly damaged. A message from Trieste was published yesterday to the effect that four Jugoslavians were sentenced to death by a special Fascist tribunal for complicity in the outrage and were later shot. Twelve others, including a woman, were sentenced to terms of imprisonment ranging from 30 to 2§ years.]
