A remarkable speech, containing a demand for a bigger army, ■was made by Genera] von Seeokt, who declared that Germany's future depended on her now army. He appealed to Germans to transfer their loyalty to the Rcichawehr. General von Seockt added that while Franco was continually discussing security Germany's frontiers wero insecure. As universal disarmament was most doubtful, Germany must increase her armed forces to the level of others.
