SOCIAL AND PERSONAL. AJrs C. S. Bruce (Douglas street), who has been on a visit to Christchurch, returned home yesterday. Mr and Mrs A. J. Dunn, Christ's College, are spending a few days at ceverley House. Mrs U. L. Wigley and Miss H. Wigley, Highfield, who have been spending a tew days in (Jueenstown, returned home on Saturday. Mrs H. W. Hall, Mrs Dick, and Miss N. Hall (Te Weka street) have returned from a visit to Queonsiown. Miss Cox and . Miss S. Purehas (christchurch) arrived yesterday to stay with the Misses Woollcombo, Trafalgar street. Miss Hunter-Weston, Highthorne, who has been staying with Mrs Simon Mackenzie, Otumarama, will ieav© today for Blenheim, where she will be the guest of Miss P. Bennett. Miss D. Raymond left yesterday for Christchurch, after spending the holidays with her parents, Mr and Mrs William Raymond, Nile street. Mrs and Miss Neville-Smith "Sliver Birches," 'Sophia street, who have been the guests of Mrs D. Burnett Te Aka Station, Hakataramea, have' returned home.
