SATURDAY'S TRANSACTIONS. * There wtis a good volume of business on call ou Saturday morning, and there was a further -writing down of prices iu the case of several stocks. Transactions, exclusive of vestibule business, included: — 200 Australian Bank of Commerce. 100 Commercial Bank of Australia. 50 E., S., and A. Bank. 110 National Bank of New Zealand. 200 N.Z. Befrigerating: (10s paid). 100 Christchurch Gas (10s paid). 100 Tooths Brewery. 100 British Tobacco (cum div.) 400 Danlop Perdriau Kubber. 300 Winding Creek (Is paid). Australian Bank, of Commerco shares dropped to 19s 7d, sellers staying in at that figure, buyers at 19s sd. Commercial Bank of Australia • shares were weaker at 19s 2d, closing quotations Id on either side. Commercial Bank of Sydney shares were easier with sellers at £l9 ss, buyers at £l9. English, 'Scottish, and Australian Bank shares relapsed; to £5 13s, National Bank of New r 2Tdftland were firm with dealings at pnd £5 14s 3d, market closing £5 14s 3d buyers, £5 ,14s 6d sellers. New Zealand Refrigerating 10s paid shares had dealings at 3s 9d and 3s lOd, closing quotations 3s 9d sellers, 3s (id buyers. Christchurch Gas fully paid Bhares were stronger with buyers at 24s 3d, sellers at 23s—the 10s paid shares were released at 12s Id. Tooths Brewery shares dropped to 22s sd, and more were wanted at 22s 6d, sellers at 22s Sd. British Tobacco shares suffered , a further drop of Is with business at 30s 3d, market closing 30s Id buyers, 30s 4d sellers. Dunlop Perdriau Rubber shares had dealings at 12b, 12s 4d, and 12s 3d, sellers staying in at 12s 3d, buyers at 12s 2d.
