SATURDAY'S TRANSACTIONS. * There wtis a good volume of business on call ou Saturday morning, and there was a further -writing down of prices iu the case of several stocks. Transactions, exclusive of vestibule business, included: — 200 Australian Bank of Commerce. 100 Commercial Bank of Australia. 50 E., S., and A. Bank. 110 National Bank of New Zealand. 200 N.Z. Befrigerating: (10s paid). 100 Christchurch Gas (10s paid). 100 Tooths Brewery. 100 British Tobacco (cum div.) 400 Danlop Perdriau Kubber. 300 Winding Creek (Is paid). Australian Bank, of Commerco shares dropped to 19s 7d, sellers staying in at that figure, buyers at 19s sd. Commercial Bank of Australia • shares were weaker at 19s 2d, closing quotations Id on either side. Commercial Bank of Sydney shares were easier with sellers at £l9 ss, buyers at £l9. English, 'Scottish, and Australian Bank shares relapsed; to £5 13s, National Bank of New r 2Tdftland were firm with dealings at pnd £5 14s 3d, market closing £5 14s 3d buyers, £5 ,14s 6d sellers.
