DEBUTANTE'S DANCE.
At "Totara," Horrelvillc, on Friday evening, Mr and Mrs B. G. Wolff entertained a number of their friends in order to introduce into adult eociety their elder daughter, Dorothy. The hostess received her guestsfwearing a frock of floral georgette in 6oft shades "of bluo and gold. Miss Dorothy Wolff wore a charming French frock of deep cream lace and. georgette. She carried, a posy of freesias and pale blu6 forget-me-nots to match her bluo shoes. Dancing to the spirited strains of Mr Cecil Hunnibell's Band was enjoyed in the woolrshed, which was transformed into a gaily-decorated ballroom for the occasion, and many of the guests played bridge in the drawing-room. Supper was served in the dining-room, the tables being decorated with bowls of spring flowers and foliage. Amongst the guests were the Bev. G. B. and Mrs Nanson, Mr and Mrs A.
