PRIVATE VISIT TO EDINBURGH. (BniTisß official wieelssb.) RUGBY. September 3. The Queen paid a private visit to Edinburgh to-day, and after making purchases at , antique dealers, took lunch at Holy rood Palace. Later she visited the National Gallery and Edinburgh Castle, where, with the Duke of Atholl, she inspected the splendid war memorial which has ~een erected since her last visit to the city.
