THE NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION.

The monthly meeting of the Council was held at Wellington on Monday, when there were present: Sir Alexander Roberts (chairman), Messrs A. D. S. Duncan, M. J» Crombie, W. A. Kiely, Colonel R., 0. Chesney, ,and Mr G. O. Sutton (secretary). Tho secretary reported that programmes and entry forms for the championship tournament had been forwarded to all clubs and to all professionals; also that a grading list of the professionals, had been drawn up by tho Golf Professionals' Association with a view to the Manawatu Golf Club being able to decide upon the twenty whose entries will be accepted. The secretary submitted copies of two circulars which had been forwarded to all affiliated clubs with reference to valuation of sports ■ grounds, i The Council's annual report for the year ended July 31st, 1930, was approved of and ordered to be printed and circulated to clubs forthwith, together with the revenue account and balance-sheet" for the past year.
