CALEDONIAN SOCIETY.

Tho Canterbury Caledonian Society's social on Wednesday at the Caledonian Hall waa attended by a large audience. The president Mr C. S. Thomas, occupied the chair, and'was supported by Mesara J. Erskine and P O. Neate (directors). The programme was provided by Messrs J. Erskine and A. E Purse, and .wa« an exceptionally good one. A feature was tho appearance of the Woolston Band, which gave se ections, marches, and solos. The following also contributed items. Selections by the Society s Pipe Band; song, Mr D.
