SOCIAL AND PERSONAL. Mrs E. Boaven and Miss B. Beadel (Christchurch) are the guests of Mrs McKeowu, Timaru. Miss M. Cave (Dunedin) is spending the holidays with her parents, Mr and Mrs F. S. Cave (Raymond street). Miss M. Black (Wellington East Girls' College) is spending the vacation with her parents, Mr and Mrs T. Black (Wai-iti road). Mr and Mrs W. N. Bond and the Misses Mary and Nancy Bond (Dunrobin, Southland), who have been the guests of Mrs Elworthy ("Pareora Cottage," Ijo Cren's terrace) left yesterday to stay at Claremont. Miss A. Oliver (Surrey Downs), who has been staying with Mrs W. Raymond (Nile street), has returned home. Miss C. Bowen (Christchurch), who was the guest of Mrs R. F. Hill (Mere Mere street), has left to spend a few days at Hinds. Passengers to the Hermitage yesterday were Mrs A. Gilchrist (Dunedin), Miss B. Gilchrist (Dunedin), Miss A. Moore (Christchurch), Messrs A. Galloway and W. Fleck (Invercargill). . The following were guests recently at the Dominion Hotel: —Messrs W. Hindmarsh (Christchurch), C. Flavell (Christchurch), A. C. Andrews (Christchurch) A. Hobbs (Christchurch), L. W. Metson (Christchurch), J. L. Rodgers (Christchurch), R. Hector (Dunedin), and B. W. Brownlee (Christchurch). Latest arrivals at the Grosvenor Hotel include Mrs Alex. Gilchrist (Dunedin), Mrs M. R. Whitley (Roxburgh). Misses E. Whitley (Roxburgh), and Miss B. Gilchrist (Dunedin), Messrs A. E.
