MAN FOUND DEAD.

FATAL GUN SHOT WOUND. POLICE BUSH TO LAKE COLERIDGE. Robert Allen Cockburn was found dead from gunshot wounds on the roadside about four miles from Lake Coleridge yesterday afternoon. The constable stationed at Coalgate went to the scone at once, after informing the City police. A number of City police and detectives were rushed out by car, and it is assumed that there are circumstances pointing to foul play. Early this morning neither the City police nor the Coalgate policeman had returned or reported to headquarters, so details of the fatality are not available. Cockburn, who was employed by Mr lan Murchison, was 23 years old and a Bon of Mr Allen Cockburn, of Oxford.
