SERIES OF THEFTS.
(mats MSOCUTIO* roLzoaiif.) WELLINGTON, September 3. On seven charges of theft, involving £ll6. Richard Hope Fenn and James McTavish were each sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment in the Magistrate's Court to-day. They pleaded guilty to further charges oi breaking, entering, and theft at Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin. and were committed for sentence. Alexander Theodore Fenn, who was associated with them in two charge* of breaking, entering and theft, pleaded not guilty. The charges were dismissed, but accused afterwards pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property, and was remanded till tomorrow for aefitenoa.
