ST. JAMES' THEATRE.
"SKIN DEEP." • The excellent short items in the first part of the programme at St. James' Theatre this v/eek help to make it ono of the best' that have been seen in Christchurch. Ann Grey is heard in a delightful spiritual, Tex McLeod spins his ropo and tells stones. Universal and Pathe gazettes covet tho world field, and Jan Rubini (violinist) plays three numbers each of which is excellent. Tho feature in the second half is "Skin Deep," a tense etory of the underworld. Monte Blue is the star.
