. ♦ NAMES OF NEW CARGO SHIPS. (SltOSt OTJB OWS COEBESPOSTDENI.) LONDON, July 25. Some months ago it was announced that tho New Zealand Shipping Company had placed orders for three new cargo motor-ships. One of these has been in course of construction .at Messrs Vickers, Armstrong, and Co., at Barrow, and the other two are being built by Messrs Alexander Stephens and Co., on the Clyde. The first will be ready to sail for the Dominion in December. The others will follow at short intervals. Hitherto, these vessels have been nameless, but the Company has now made a decision, and to-day the manager has informed me that they are ' to be called Otaio, Orari, and Opawa.
