To-day "The Case of Sergeant Grischa" will be presented for the first time at tho Civia Theatro, although it was given ft private screening in the City eome few weeks back. It is a meat wondefurl film, based on the vrar novel of the same name by Arnold Zwieg. It is a war film without a Single battle, it sets out to eLow tho utter futility of war and how the rank and file are sacrificed to the war machine. The photography and recording are equal to the best over seen, and as tho director waa Herbert Bronon, the director of "Beau Gcste" and "Sorrell and Son," it goee without saying that bis work will be a dnligbt. The cast includes Chester Morris, Betty Compson, and Jean HerihoH. Bos plane are at The Bristol.
