OAKLAND TO TOKIO FLIGHT.
PROPOSITION MADE TO KINGSFORD SMITH, (UKITED ?WBB A_BaOqjATJO?J-*-BT PLEGTEIC TELEGgAFg —COPYBIGHT.) SAN FRANQISQQ, July W-Wing-Commander C. E. Kjngsford Smith has been approached by an eastern company which is constructing an experimental aeroplane, regarding an Oakland-Tokio flight, which will not take place before June ne*t. Kingsford Smith's brother, Mr R, fL K. Smith, said on Wednesday that the maehine would be either three or fourmotored, with a cruising radius of 6000 miles.
Kingsford Smith leaves on route to the east on Wednesday- He hopes to leave London on August 15th in a small English aeroplane, on his projected 10day six-stop flight to. Sydney.
