Miss W. Anderson (Wanganui), who haß been visiting her sister, Mrs A. C. Cottrell, Merivale lane, left for the north last night, Mr and Mrs T. E. Y. Secldon (Wellington) are spending a few days in Chrtstchurch, on their way to the West Coast.

Miss Phyllis Francis (Rossall street), who is visiting Miss Dorothy Herbert, Wellington, is returning to Christchureb to-morrow.

Mrs E. J. Parrott (Springfield road) has left for. a trip to Sydney. Mrs G. H. Miller, who has been the guost of Mrs W. Patterson, Winter's road, Ashburton, is now staying with Mrs W. Palmer, Wai-iti road, Timaru. Miss Kitty Polhill (North Canterbury) is the guest of Miss Betty Rutherford, at Sumner.
